Today was Jacobys 3rd birthday! How the time flies. Our baby is no longer a baby. During this past year Jacoby developed the love of a TOY! I know! Its awesome. While he still loves the iPad and anything electronic, we can now add Buzz Lightyear to the short list. Jacoby loves Buzz Lightyear. That is all he wanted for his birthday. So we went out and bought Jacoby the big Buzz Lightyear doll/action figure. Whatever you want to call it. Jacoby was so excited for his birthday. It finally clicked what a birthday is this year. He knew he got to make all meal decisions, and most others for the day. He would respond to everyone saying its my birthday. meaning I get to decide because its my birthday! So funny.
Stephanie only allows Jacobys birthday gifts to be put under the tree before his birthday. Then the day after all these presents start appearing under the tree. However, before Jacobys birthday, only his birthday gifts are under the tree.
This year was easy for Stephanie to do Jacobys cake because he actually picked what he wanted. A Buzz cake that was green.

One of the things Jacoby wanted to do was play baseball on the Wii with dad.

So here they are playing baseball together. Jacoby did win the game!
We took Jacoby to McDonalds for lunch for chicken nuggets and then for dinner we went to Kneaders and had french toast because every monday in December Kneaders is doing something special. Tonight was Santa Clause! But this post is only about Jacoby.

Jacoby also got the movie Toy Story. The first one. We watched it on the Disney channel last week and he frieked out every time Buzz came on the screen. He just loves Buzz.
Jacoby really wanted a pinata and since the other 2 kids had one for their birthday it was only fair that Jacoby get one too. This one is a pull string one though. We like these ones better. Especially this year because now we can hang this pinata above Jacobys bed. The caked turned out well. Jacoby isn't a cake person so next year stephanie will have to do a fake cake with candy on it or something.
Every year at Christmas time his parents would give out the kids new Church clothes just before they were to go to a Christmas Play, or just to the ward Christmas Party. Whichever came first.
We gave our kids their church clothes just before we went out to the Heritage School in Provo to watch the play, "A Christmas Carol". They all loved their clothes which made Stephanie happy. Stephanie was grateful that Jacoby was with her in the picking out the clothes process because Jacoby was very particular about what he would and would not wear. Stephanie found a cute vest for him, to which he shook his head and said, "no". Then she found a matching sweater to go with Stefan. Jacoby shook his head and said,"no" that time. Jacoby finally found a green plaid shirt that he would wear. Mainly because it was green (his favorite color), and he knew he had to pick something.

Everyone had a great time. Eric and Stephanie weren't exactly sure how the kids would do, especially Jacoby. They all did great though. Stefan and Janine were really into it. The backdrops and costumes were absolutely amazing. Eric thought that was the best part. He didn't care much for the acting, but the rest of us thought everything was great.

This exciting and busy time of year has come again! It was Stephanie's turn to go back home to Arizona for Thanksgiving. However, because we are now running the new RiverWoods store and are still involved in overseeing the other Provo store there was no way we were going to make it down.
We stayed home and had a great time. We bought WIPEOUT for the Wii and played that as a family. We love to watch the TV show together so why not the game right?
We always enjoy watching the Thanksgiving parade on TV and seeing all the cool floats and the different balloons.

And what would Thanksgiving be for Eric without the Dog Show following the parade. Having been married for 9 1/2 years the whole family now enjoys watching the dog show after the parade.
We also went outside and played baseball. Growing up Stephanie would always play football with her brothers.

A tradition of playing a sport is something that will continue in this family as well.
This year Stephanie asked the kids what they would like to have at dinner. What is their favorite thing. Stefan and Janine at the same time "Lime/Lemon JELLO. followed by an echo from Jacoby. So we had Lemon Jello for Stefan with lemon slices in it. The Jello was actually really good. Janine had her Lime Jello with mandarin oranges in it. They were very happy.

In the Allan family, ThanksGiving would not be complete unless you had a pie for every person. Carrying on with that Tradition we had 4 pies. Only 4 of us eat pie. Jacoby isn't big on desserts.
As dinner time came around we have been having some good one liners being said by the kids and so as we sat down to eat dinner Eric decided to start writing them down. Here is that list;
Uh...I love the dog show. -Eric
Aw! There is onion and tears in my eyes and I can't see the Rockettes! -Eric
4 pies 5 people! That's an Allan thanksgiving! -Stephanie
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just saying. - Stephanie
We sit down to eat with all kinds of food on the table, Jacoby looks at it and says,
"I don't like it." -jacoby"
"You know, everything pees when they poop, even humans. - Stefan"
"Girls don't. We pee and then poo. -Stephanie"
"EXACTLY -Stefan"
"It would be awesome to have a butler. -Stefan"
"Nuts. -jacoby"
"It feels good to close my eyes. -Eric"
"Cats are easy to take care of...but they run away. -Janine"
"I'm thankful for gardens and dirt. -Janine"
"I know what I want, a slice of everything. -Stephanie"
"I'm thankful for buzz. -Jacoby"
As dinner is ending, "shoot the rolls are in the oven!" -Eric"
"Look at how much turkey we have left" -Eric"
"The turkeys dry. - Great Grandma (oops she wasn't here)"
"we could save it for next thanksgiving" -Stefan"
"Do you know what was so good about this stuffing?!! You didn't burn it. - Stephanie"
"Break out the pie. -Eric"
"I don't like Kneaders cream. -Eric"
These will probably be more hilarious to us because we heard the whole entire conversation. We were busting up laughing though.
It may be ThanksGiving but work does go on. Someone has to do the bread! So we decided to go into Kneaders as a family to load the van up with Provo stores bread and deliver it so that Eric could

It was really fun!

This has been a great Thanksgiving. We are truly blessed and have so many temporal blessings and many many spiritual blessings. Both we are Thankful for and Thankful for the Lord in allowing us to have what we do. We hope this Holiday season has been kicked off with a Haunting Halloween, a Filling Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas. Only to end with the Happiest of New Years.

Annette came up and watched the kids, so we could go overnight to Park City. Its amazing how you can just go to the other side of the mountain and truly feel as though you are in another state.
First, lets rewind just a little and start from the begining. Annette came up on Thursday and we met her in Santaquin at the Red Barn.

We took a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch, picked pumpkins, did a kiddie maze and watched the kids go down there huge white slides. It was really fun. Janine crazy enough was the timid one this trip. Usually that role isn't hers, but she claimed it this time. She eventually went down and then of course we couldn't get her off of the slides....Funny how that works.

The next Eric and I left and headed up to Park City where I was in need of new clothes. I had 3 pairs of pants to my name. One that fit, a comfy one, and then skinny jeans. Ya, I don't wear the skinnies too much. Needless to say this shopping experience was alot of fun! Its way way to hard to shop for clothes with 3 kids. So I never do it.
Eric took me to Tanger Outlets Mall and we walked the whole thing! We were so tired by the end. However, we did quite well. I got a few new pair of pants, new shoes and a few shirts. I think I will be goo again for awhile. :o)

We have never been to a better steakhouse. The food there is amazing! The atmosphere was cool too. We had a great time. After dinner we went back to the hotel where they had all the fixings to make smores outside by the fire pits. We were sickly full but had to take advantage as much as we could. So we cooked up a marshmallow and had a smore!

We stayed at the Waldorf Austoria Hotel. I have never been to a nicer hotel. They have a day spa in the lower levels where I was able to get a facial done. It was awesome. I really wanted to get my nails done all Halloweenish but didn't have time. While I was at the spa, Eric went to the gym for an hour where he said it was the best work out. Their machines were amazing.

Then on Saturday we came back to Provo to cheer on the cougars as they played Oregon State! We are the front row at the very bottom on the 40 yard line! We had to stand the entire game so we could see above the players on the side lines! This game was so awesome. So much fun to be at.

This trip was for my birthday yes, but it was a vacation for Eric as well. A little getaway before the busy season really kicks into high gear. So we splurged and man it was the best Fall break Birthday ever!

Stephanie told Eric that they need to buy a Jeep! This has been Stephanies dream since she first discovered what a car was. So Eric went out and looked around and surprised everyone with a Jeep CALL OF DUTY! He was test driving it! Stephanie couldn't believe it. We loaded everyone up and went for a drive. So awesome.
So the business rewarded Eric for all his hard work with the purchase of a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Call Of Duty edition! This Jeep is SICK! This is Stephanie's dream car that she has dreamed about since childhood! She is so excited.
The business bought this Friday, then Eric and Stephanie both went and finished filling out paper work on Saturday right before they went to the Jazz game! Loni and Stevo came over and watched the kids for us so we could go. With Eric being on the advertising board for Kneaders we got these killer seats 3 rows back from the court! behind the basketball hoop. Our seats ended up being just to the side of the basket so we could see everything and not just a pole. We went early and got to go downstairs in the Energy Solutions arena and eat dinner! Then during Half Time we got to go down again for snacks. It was awesome! We were even going to try and get a picture with Matt Harpring but it didn't happen. We did get a picture though!..Of the two of us. Eric has been working like a mad man trying to get everything to come together with out his brain exploding. Stephanie has been trying to help out with the basket making area, ordering all edible items to go on the shelves to sell and whatever else is needed to help Eric out as much as possible. Who knew ordering ribbon, tissue paper, jam, dips, vanilla, pasta, soda, different sauces etc would be so difficult and time consuming! What do people like? What would people want their basket ties with? What would people buy to got in their basket? etc....The Riverwoods location officially opened Today April 13th, 2012.
Stephanie's amazing mother saved us by flying up and staying with us for a full week just to babysit her grandkids! Super mom/grandma. Stephanie called her mom friday night and Shelly flew up Monday morning.
Stephanie was able to work ALL week with eric and run errands for him and michael. Mostly though, Stephanie was there for moral support. To keep Eric going, and relieve the stress as much as possible. There is nothing more stressful than having corporate people around you 24/7 as you are opening the store and having them switch things on you last minute and throwing you through a loop. We made it work though and the store opened great. We were ALOT slower than we had anticipated but was still a decent day.
We had a friends and family night to help the employees and everyone work out the final bugs.

It was also nice for our new friends from Salem to show up and support us as well.

Eric's parents and siblings showed up and Stephanie's mom was there with the kids. Just so we all know and are aware, we didn't lock Grandma Powell in the house. Stephanie came home in the early afternoon some days and went out and did things with Shelly(grandma) and the Kids. They went bowling one day and quickly found out that Grandma Powell is an awesome bowler in real life and not so much on the Wii.!! They also went and got frozen yogurt too. Plus I'm sure Stephanie just being home was nice for Grandma Powell as well. One night Stephanie and Eric got home around bed time and after the kids were in bed Stephanie and her mom went to see the Hunger Games movie together. G-Ma Powell said she had a fun week, which is great! She is an awesome mom/grandma to help out like she does. Couldn't have done it without her. She flies home Monday morning and her adventure ends.
We are excited for this new store and pray it is busy and successful. Eric and Stephanie have been so blessed in their lives and are truly grateful to the Lord for helping them get to where they are. They strive daily to continue to remember the lord and always involve him in their daily lives and the life of their businesses and serve others as much as possible.Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-69135297381738279132012-04-08T22:00:00.000-07:002012-10-05T06:36:17.229-07:00Easter 2012Wow! Happy Easter!
First of all, this has been quite the busy Easter Holiday! Second, Jacoby fell down the cement steps in the garage yesterday and has quite the nice goose egg on his forhead. Just in case you were wondering why he looks like he just got in a fight. That's why.
Of course it snowed again just two days ago so it is cold for another Easter. We did all of our easter stuff today! The bunny came early this year.(headed to marysvale tonight) The kids got new bikes from the Easter Bunny, and Jacoby finally got a Tri-cycle that he can ride! Stefans bike has no training Wheels. He wasn't too excited about this detail. Stefan CAN ride his bike without training wheels and this will be the year he gains confidence and rides well w/out those darn training wheels. When its a outside toy year, the Bunny always brings them on Saturday so the kids can ride and enjoy them before Sunday.
As a kid, Stephanie remembers always going to Woodland Park with her family and doing the Easter Egg Hunt and raffle drawing. It was usually cold as most Easters are. Stephanie wanted the kids to participate in the town Egg hunt so we woke the kids up, found their baskets and headed up to the Loafer View Ballpark where the kids got to do the egg hunt. The only difference between Stephanie's childhood egg hunt and this egg hunt was Stephanie's eggs were hidden. These eggs were scattered all over the snowy ball fields! Must say though that all those eggs scattered on white snow was actually quite pretty. They had you line up on the 3rd base line and when you heard the Fire Truck horn you took off!
Grab as many eggs as you could! They separated the kids by age into groups, so Stephanie had Janine and Jacoby and Eric had Stefan with his age group. Stephanie was a little nervous for Janine. Would Janine get out there and take those eggs before someone else could? Well, as the horn went off, Janine took off and grabbed egg after egg. Stephanie was so excited and helped Jacoby get a couple of eggs too. After wards you lined up and drew a raffle ticket from a fireman. Depending on what ticket you drew determined the prize you got. Janine and Jacoby's age group got to keep their eyes open as they picked their ticket. Stefans age group had to cover their eyes. Everyone had a great time racing for eggs. We then went home and rode our new bikes for a little bit and then we colored eggs as a family. This is always such a fun activity that the kids love. Plus Jacoby is finally old enough to somewhat enjoy it. After this we had our family egg hunt.

That night we went down to Marysvale to stay because Kendal and Lisa blessed their baby, Drake, at church today. We weren't too happy to have to be some place else on easter, but as always it was a good visit. Grandma and Grandpa Allan don't hide eggs, they hide candy! Everywhere! Just when you think you found all the candy you end up finding another piece. This Eric tells us will happen for days! Too Funny!
What a great Easter we have had as a family. Not only did we get Easter stuff done we also worked on the Riverwoods store trying to get things together for our Grand Opening this upcoming week! Can't believe we are opening our 3rd store!!! Wish us Luck!!!Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-62453130048620749392012-03-31T08:33:00.000-07:002012-10-02T06:14:42.502-07:00March Madness!<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2b1YuqHBSwNDpEIpFznJU-7OspRiiHvG-2wocEKsUoR6PZlfrcXyrSBtLi1hmBrdvV4OeojTNWSpYf-bBY22jXdoHPJy3hyi0tJGMelB9sN6_j4fQhrJ9cPTvrhaE_wAuxt_XpeFWv428/s320/DSCF0521.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5733144768122045730" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg990s37xaugXyqi96afid_Pjah4TCOxxjFc7-zmCTWcbD8doBbn47Rb-Dk1Xj55wp-JzjlWDRSHqgJ_KO7RyOo6-69WzrTCBzRDKL1vIqGBC2U0cQOeE2dVTpmH6qyeVy-xLHOHxf7haFD/s320/DSCF0501.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5733144735143536082" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMOyvAVnt4Z7Mw1ULkK7kfK8t7A7jDqIcDLSTTldarWs1DWb_aj1xObhyphenhyphenYy55_cIfVNC5v2NSAsfFOTAEsS_0jnGutyfVBmSdlpD8lJ1J6WV48FbkA26m9nYUcVJfyDSGCLajI_V-wBUe0/s320/DSCF0504.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5733144743042802562" />

By the title you probably think we are going to blog about College Basketball. Well...think again! This month Eric has been working like a mad man with the new Kneaders store in Riverwoods. Stephanie has been helping him some days when it works out finding someone to watch the kids for us. The first movie of the "Hunger Games" came out this month and so Stephanie made sure she could work out a time with our neighbor to watch the kids for us. Of course the movie was amazing.
Stephanie also did a wedding cake for one of Loni's friends down in Circleville. It turned out really nice. The two bottom layers are fake. Only the top layer is real. The piping took forever! Next time Stephanie will charge more for piping! This wedding cake had to be done on Brendas birthday as well and so Stephanie hurried and threw a cake together for Brenda as well. <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8h5nMtkZFQWKo2sXRApsQvMxuXAa7nFeEI-PoG3g8MtkQh6G-D3P-uw_1bq30myCAfk_RfNH79WJbOO-g8xgq0mYYElmGBCAcamaclWzRv65d61CpUlgOJHToejwL5iG-C7atLNa2QX_-/s320/DSCF0511.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5733144750687364002" />
Stephanie has also been trying to get Janine to let her do Janines hair more. Less than 5% of the population gets this. Nobody knows what causes it or how you come to get it. Once we moved to Salem, Stephanie was able to find a pediatrician that would actually listen to her and tried to figure out what was going on with Janine. The Doctor officially diagnosed Janine with P-fapa saying that he's 90% sure that is what she has. We had just been monitoring Janine every time she would get the fevers and see if any new symptoms came or showed up, or if the fevers were getting worse. So we monitored her for 6 more months after we found Dr. Fullmer. Well we thought Janine was getting better and maybe even starting to grow out of this. <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOx8TsL8ADru7oQpfpbztXOqrj-s0UFBdb2D-qG8jVmAgGeE32J5h6iXiAbXPe_0pkzmXBovcMhgQzKBNPIECyaTeMnLvW5jHJc0QEiVOaQ7I_RwUEyeWXvdv11F5RUdC__Pj86OlqJMd_/s320/IMG_0056.PNG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712380036179734754" />Her last two episodes came two weeks in a row but only lasted 48 hours and her fever never spiked above 104. She even went 5 weeks without an episode! Usually these come like clockwork. Every 4 weeks. However, this last episode it all came back with a vengence. Janine did spike above 104 and that is when she starts puking and is like a rag doll. just limp. She was getting bloody noses. We were very concerned and Stephanie took Janine back to the doctor the next day where they drew blood from Janine to see if there was anything going on. Blood work was fine except for the two tests we knew would come back abnormal. 70% of kids with P-fapa who get their tonsils out are completely P-fapa free or reduces the reoccurance of these fevers drastically. 30% it does nothing. So Instead of giving Janine a steroid every time she gets the fevers we decided to get her tonsils out. We pray that this will work. If it doesn't work she could have it between 6-8 years from the time she got it! So Janine could be between 8 & 10 years old before she would grow out of this! So we pray taking out the tonsils will work!
Janine was a very brave girl. we bought her a lala loopsy doll whos name is Crumbs Sugar Cookie. we had enough time to even play with her a little bit before hand.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTh_klhM-oYysHn8Xs0fdr66-yqxElcX2dnOm8p3xzOptPUYi3MeFPy8_40GRDjMHSeypj4VdcC8qOvHNMFl4L79gyLPNKTrQ-8CcZyTfeX5odRI0ULDCpJXgX3JShhWlIEMD5G1iYN7N7/s320/IMG_0060.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712381000357781074" />
After the surgery she did great. she sucked on a popsicle for us and drank juice and had some jello. Then that night she even had mashed potatoes and fish! The doctor said after a week is when kids usually start having soft foods because of the pain. Not Janine. we could tell that she was in pain alot of times but 1. Janine hates the pain medicine, 2. She doesn't like a bunch of attention on her, so wouldn't ever ask for the medicine. Usually Stephanie and eric would have to start counting to 5 for her to take it otherwise dad would have to come hold her down....It never did come to that. Janine can just handle pain very well. The hardest part with Janine getting out her tonsils is trying to keep her down. She just wants to run and wrestle with her brothers and we are trying to have her watch tv and movies, or just color and draw. Janine did get Balloons and a stuffed animal from Grandma and Papa Powell and she was so excited to get those. She also got balloons and some stamps from the Primary Presidency. This is a very loved girl. Tomorrow it will have been a full week since she had her tonsils out and Janine is great.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZDjY8Jc2r4UZi5koXoXmnHgdaSGRqFDuMMi5uTdYSva31z6WJIAKLrwcb7-73MbHwVxJDfALOrcWlrppHQ7Onj5kmMk2-gjY99DpP4hMA6ZUHsOWTjzX4FR7mYrlkXnmVWTjtz9ywEcrf/s320/IMG_0062.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712380051402051682" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdpKAWdw892OykZPRUiBp5Ht6z3mX20W-yTjD8rYYhY_QU78C3B2MR-gNctWSULhUCBriPRFva8KbIfWUPb0tGClfsgt57rWhRm6xe6VEb5tC8bPxfbocBDFqb9LwvgZLcMW4fT8I6_e6O/s320/IMG_0846.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712380059375493362" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-27750664069356091122012-01-31T08:27:00.005-08:002012-02-23T08:49:49.970-08:00Dance & Piano Recital<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdA59K_Kwn0iekS24cJ44f1lvxKNjFAx8je0X08oNtnZtBKndWtFr5FUZufRID3ZNfwVpgHDLgGbRCu-V3Ho9L4px5Z-zEc57iIb2f-vq9BohLA4DPhie0Mq0MJehkphH6773QHKLyMsp_/s320/DSCF0487.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712371281603713234" />
Janine had her first Dance Recital this month and Stefan had his first Piano Recital this month! Quite the month for our children to be doing things for the first time. First Janine was so excited for her recital. Stephanie and Janine pulled up the routine that her teacher posted online and practiced the dance together to help her remember it better. Eric and Stephanie weren't sure how she would do performing in front of a lot of people, but when that music came on she was one of the only girls doing the right moves at the right time. She did great! Janine wanted to stay the whole time and watch the other dancers.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7vAfTkLz7YBBSV3E41xbm6vTXwJYTWTvZ4W5vuWfWmHx_LLWkTsbkmpr34jS818LoIZ-pgFV_6D11RsiXxFT8beKrb1DPsHMZEg0O2bZEnhdBhpLA-jG_4qvdlgQYYOXEK34nBqvLh_47/s320/DSCF0485.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712371272035103810" /> As the other groups performed Janine would lean over to Stephanie and say, "look mom they are doing mot bots." or, "looks mom I can do leaps too!" Janine takes dance very seriously. After her performance she did ask her mom when she could start tumbling. That made stephanie happy! so next month Janine will start tumbling. We only live 10 minutes from where Janine performed and she was dead asleep when we got home. we would have let her sleep in her costume if it wasn't so scratchy and itchy. She did great.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFtcNkjDpVuC-ljXQcE7RE9ygAo_lPegsiuY91gDkn06khgoAKKN1M1_HgwLaCMMJdRIVY6_rjeU1K-Uzp-M5BT1yj1v2eV24bkM_czZcRmTNQVPhTSrSOmtXljyaQvJV6bEfQ9ZHliMLF/s320/DSCF0489.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712371295419394674" />

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidJpzltqoQz4ytPTBTVoo1WyljvuMKdTA9TjxCPmUaKPdkWVv2cyfNmu2LQHH09kS8rxIHkwZrdq45KgnCD6nvun1kgmMtCR3HyuJsVOeiPiCriz8wjQwEVoeyzQhEEm6rzzozjVwmkfqh/s320/DSCF0491.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712373014077954242" />
Stefan also had his first Piano Recital this month. It was the weekend after Janine's performance. He wasn't nervous at all. He played all of his songs very well. He did a great job. Stefan has a natural talent for the piano. We hope he will always love the piano and work hard to become as good as his Grandpa Allan. There is another little girl at the recital with Stefan. She is our neighbor so it was nice that the two of them knew each other. Stefan and Janine both want to learn to play the guitar, but first they have to learn the piano and then they can learn other instruments. by the time Uncle Sean gets home from his mission Stefan might be ready for lessons. We know Stephanie will be! If she doesn't break down and by a guitar first.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAAAxP985mzpbN26OZxSJrVLUb4CGgKJI6eGJbhhFVHJkwpP_vetQEa0OtIltDwfMgiCUtEIAgSTLmFr3PbeOr9WBSxQfRPvSR2QrcSsW7000CysQLq0m90qUSFpSjCj4To4ZrHA2RPakI/s320/DSCF0490.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712372997109428834" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTQD_gQAypdGIPzQz2UfMXmlOecSAxYiXOX9jkF_g65yEwYodRHcUh9WiyfVXCccRQhOevDWZjVDTPjHszhx6x9rkKLASCnDGfrLRZMDTz1fz1yBzFt89H8yXeygIS8UbhD3-maYITgnjo/s320/DSCF0492.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712373019288877410" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-42672345936778846012012-01-19T08:55:00.000-08:002012-01-19T09:21:01.589-08:00Weekend Getaway!<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguHVDa5QY_tAfcbv6GpIdkeQZOCi4RMaMT5iWjJxAd8m2kX4jmbBzuQP494e33MEXdxmWhV8IXrpXoSwbjRYdSPLcYFkzvr7Y4a_o3qhdlf0HtVCOBsvOwPoWLPReLis97YFST57eAeov_/s320/DSCF0456.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699392974001661522" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLdA98YAuDfm2bZQZoWi8DDZY9395AGKYtizdrv_RG0InRz1J3GzxMudp9nt_xeLxwszVr04_U3rQ8LJamMLXcaWCBiISrNjYXwRpZOM646999Fel5jssNo9aAiV6rU5dH9c5ZjWmEM5Rj/s320/DSCF0442.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699392970355104418" />
We decided to take a little family trip to the Park City area. We know that since we are opening up a new store in March we won't be able to take a family vacation for spring break. It has been a very dry winter this year with hardly any to no snow. We stayed at the Zermott Resort in Midway and eric gave the kids permission to jump on the beds and they were so excited.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9twU1hbz-0Ii_LwD-UaDHXqA77UFURZnoGFmjLDvbKfMCAkvIPJR90h4oFUG1gLv-6xrLh0_U4dZ2Sg5jtUBy36aUdD_GymKY19UBZMyslCkBr66V2zKwFH791Ja2dtUiLyK4iKYEZNW-/s320/DSCF0475.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699393001336479010" /> Stephanie had to finally say no more after it started to get a little out of control! We went on a carriage ride which was supposed to be a sleigh ride but again since there wasn't snow it was a carriage ride. It was really fun. The kids enjoyed themselves too. Eric enjoyed how peaceful it was and relaxing. We also went Tubing at Soldier Hollow. The only place with snow because they make their own! Tubing was such a blast. We couldn't believe how fast you go down this hill! The first time we went down we were like, "Oh my gosh!" Janine hunkered down in the hole of her tube and you wouldn't see her again until you were stopped! Hilarious. Stefan kept going and going and going. This kids had a blast. Jacoby was a year to small to go on the big hill but they did have a little kid one that we would try and sling shot him as hard as we could so he could have a fun ride! Oh and he did. so much in fact that he fell asleep! <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7pUGIAaqWDRMo0a1BB5-TSMEx3EVI_-lMzUVu51YZm4jEaTgoMyQ_SDQIjnEq-eKzwXDaIv2GA9bO3sDUfcLFCe41rNl_cPQyytFzbyWK2NvrUMsgPGe2RPbjrFvcsLmLbZB7ewH_NkC6/s320/DSCF0468.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699392996283396018" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMon4-N0u6YXiODeTeOtbNdYX0npKeF1e9Grw6ysL6kK7saG5IuWhZcF84nMTD4bWvELwRUi40-Qzv2rM5M9RIU7l4AAOPORYcHs6Ie_W0Aygx-lQhH2lCs4jjM02ihftPBI1GfDPCz3pz/s320/DSCF0465.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699392984252122658" />
At the end of our trip we went over to the Olympic Park and Eric did the skeleton sled. Its the sport where the olympians lie on their stomachs and fly down the track on a little sled, 2-3 inches off the ice! So crazy! The picture of jacoby where he is sitting on the black sled is the same kind that eric went on! Out of 20 people he took 2nd! Going 49.4 MPH! He was flying! He had a blast. But oh well its getting done. We had a very busy christmas season this year. Stephanie helped out the most she ever has at Kneaders during the Holiday season. She enjoyed herself alot. Janine also had a little dance recital this month as well. While there wasn't enough seating for everyone we were stuck standing in the back and we completely missed Janine dancing! We were so sad and dissapointed. Eric saw her a teeny bit but Stephanie missed her completely. She was quite upset. <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqhrr4ZgnT9msSfjUSu0aEE3JFI8dxS2dk8QbwXGeAlXHdJovYa1MbG-ZmHpo6QKM4ujiyeJtHRDQhyXiiF-gsbpiAr2igN2dBasYGNFMTD5kRc2av_Xsf-OWkSu2Vx98c74ouokJGH7ZE/s320/DSCF0387.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699383574451278194" />
This month was also Jacobys 2nd birthday! We had so much fun. We took him out to lunch and then since there was no snow we gave him a one man JEEP. He loved it! Took him a day to figure out the gas pedal and the steering at the same time. He has it down now and enjoys it. Stefan is bummed because he is too big for it and Janine can ride it. Jacoby got a Christmas Birthday Cake because he didn't get it for his first birthday. We put on Ipad ontop of his cake because he is into technology and was born knowing how to work an Ipad. <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYaaPbVZoZPEl4Vs5YZ4_44mCPZpGUxqkkVOxkR328MDREhaq-rGZ2UBqkVDoGHviXMgKWd6GHOEe7qmNUvvZhE0GvkdBu1aHjwO-mUbeZzUe6CwzSNQZtm7yn01m5_m7rzua7Q7J705YX/s320/DSCF0372.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699383546014862434" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG4kxw4Q5XWGA78KAlg0iTDseOJU-N8AgPOIAxFjdYa0qNpRL54J9SdXTM6VLoGWuNMIy3QZP20Yzta7HIE73NxgMI6bFRPuCCmzsckriT4jbhnAllYk2KJ5iVqg9RtXtCK4jjDVqXPFeP/s320/DSCF0363.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699383557730283154" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlB2CpHQ34c68S2P9TA4r7PK4wJrbIZvk_qwCg3avxlNhNtOQsA5kszyenbnOvfCyZD2-XMpMMWOsBHjKQZ1jisWX_lMWfXRJ9PEe6CVRDFcN7l5BXJHrYLuI0qBwds_Us5IUOWMqg6kYJ/s320/DSCF0380.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699383548459065490" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglczvkM9PoGn2wpEa9jPdrO5iI7GztPPC4kIbOZfeguro6CcQoACVeUUjMA5sSrai-en9BVqbu7EWwgmBsUF6xN_8ETJotwYm6ThyphenhyphenpVksM0iwi_uU7jhXe0OpwUcnghXWliTMd09G6DNcE/s320/DSCF0379.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699383578532840242" />
Christmas eve as always is fun. We all enjoy making our own pizzas and getting our Christmas Jammies. This is always a great time of year for us to think about the Saviour and what gifts we can give to him this year. We don't do new years resolutions. Instead we have taken that and have turned it into our gifts for Jesus. This is a tradition that we enjoy and really helps us keep the goal the whole year. To truly honor our saviour and the many blessings he gives to us on a daily basis. We always enjoy watching the Nativity story and the kids enjoy talking about what they know.
Christmas Morning this year was on a Sunday and at first we weren't too excited because it was going to break up our routine of how we do things on Christmas. However, we all really enjoyed going to sacrament on the sabbath and the special feeling that came home with all of us was different. It really helped us keep the true spirit of Christmas.
Jacoby got his ipad for christmas, Stefan got his Nintendo DS, and Janine got her craft table and easle with art supplies. Eric and Stephanies gift came a few months ago as we finished our basement.<img style="float:right;
This was a great Turkey Day this year! We were finally able to spend thanksgiving again with family and it was so nice. We spent Thanksgiving this year with the Allan family down in Marysvale. We woke up at home thanksgiving morning and drove down to marysvale and then helped finish up with the dinner. The best part of the Allan feast are the pies. We believe in there being a pie for everyone. The picture of the pies that was taken doesn't even show all the pies that we had. Insane? Yes, and we love it. You just have a sliver of every pie and then 2 hours later you have some more! What a great day thanksgiving!
We were able to spend all weekend there and we went to the elementary gym and played basketball together and Eric and Stephanie woke up at 5 o'clock friday morning and went to the walmart in richfield. They were having a deal on the motorized Jeeps and so we got one for Jacobys birthday that is coming up in a week and a half! It was fun to do some shopping together and get movies for $1.96 each. It was also free babysitting and a great date for the two of us to have together. We ended our little holiday trip with an outing to Pizza Hut. Richfield has one of the only Pizza huts in the state where you can sit down and eat there. All other places are "to go" only. So the kids love going to Pizza Hut at Grandma Allan house.href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3i-IM5oppHRgViWaZ-hOH0PiUpLVRsHHC58eR4Fiya7Uwbll5hzoMftKMXLTi9A1SwpRVChTRJS_9cEmngsCVtUVdTEs0_xxL3SPyLHD3F9N-TkUgFxxoJcPDgOjMPkvx7VduqY83QvZ9/s1600/DSCF0274.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3i-IM5oppHRgViWaZ-hOH0PiUpLVRsHHC58eR4Fiya7Uwbll5hzoMftKMXLTi9A1SwpRVChTRJS_9cEmngsCVtUVdTEs0_xxL3SPyLHD3F9N-TkUgFxxoJcPDgOjMPkvx7VduqY83QvZ9/s320/DSCF0274.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680839725052361378" />
That Sunday evening we Decorated the Christmas tree together as a family. We bought new ornament this year and got rid of our firt set of bulbs ever. Traded out the breakable bulbs for the non breakables. Tree turned out great.

We think about it on an almost everyday basis but finding the time right now is difficult!
At the start of the Halloween season (september end of august) Stefan said he wanted to be a pirate. Well the costume that happened to fit Jacoby this year was stefans old pirate costume from when he was 2. Stephanie then said that the whole family was going to be pirates this year! Janine absolutely refused to be anything but a princess. So stephanie said that the whole family will still be pirates and Janine will be the princess that we have captured! This was a great plan until October rolled around and Stefan changed his mind and wanted to be the blue ninja from last year. OH well saves us money right? Stephanie's plan didn't turn out. the only one who happened to be a pirate was Jacoby, but a cute pirate he was! Stefan was the blue ninja, Janine was sleeping beauty. The whole day was fun. In the morning Stephanie and the kids went to the elementary and watched Stefan walk around the school halls for his parade and took pictures. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoYYOBEG19ksnlVhtDmmx7jVht5CeRw7DxVslPP5Y8HF6JWn2HMbWCtgYrETShSbcttmW9h8OJue6N8BnAv6TuQllqEYdbq80aCbvz2NG9hiba9gPoDqkmRj05VJMVVHiOOWPaC-lOVURf/s320/DSCF0245.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676333889108554930" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrJ7RympfHz498IdhRwdchURgFFQULFIjIwdC76F7EIz0_7r8wDAm9TXbEJir5Y44BhiqOctaqj1A2CWo42tr-zAWP1v0FU9x0ehmRYMbENUEJ4cjH9LaEXpFaReRGaxctAE0qqYxRCK4d/s320/DSCF0244.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676333879271845890" /> Then he went to a carnival. Later Stephanie took all the kids to the school carnival. Then we came back home and decorated the back of the Armada for the trunk or treat. The kids always enjoy this. They get to go through the house and pick out what they want to put in the car. This is the first year Eric and Stephanie didn't dress up. Excuse no.1 we had no time to get dressed. Eric got stuck at work all day and the trunk or treat started at 5. Eric pulls into the driveway at 4:55 runs inside for a fresh shirt and good smelling stuff and we left. The trunk or treat was a lot of fun, but different than what we were used to in Pleasant Grove. In PG, all the kids would run crazy going from car to car multiple times and wouldn't stop until all the cars were out of candy! Here in Salem, we were the ones going crazy trying to chase kids down to get them to take our candy and they wouldn't because they said that they had already been to our car! Eric and Stephanie put the candy in their bags and told them not to tell their parents!!
We had a great time!
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ672BCDFXllj-ktT_QN8NyS_Sb46ypVI9C1UkK0pvMr8fxBMAm1bBBamQDwiC84xQXK04_wbZmu48YKkglB9p0BBvcP62DqGDIflX7sZG_O35eQAoWMQ-7Sjxz4A8-zVmVM-GLyACOAzI/s320/DSCF0240.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676333875944757938" />

This year we also did pumpkins of course! This is always an adventure as none of our kids will stick their hands into the pumpkins and rip out the guts! The love to carve and get so excited, but they refuse to stick their hands in there...maybe next year. Stefan and Eric teamed up and made the cool scary one. Janine made one with her name on it and Stephanie and Jacobys was the spooky face. good times.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN_w8KIxgjuWSNn8PKzCprYUixixTuk47-8d1VwClY-qbFbiE8Q-Eyx50tmdX9IEtmKGeWwDOlFYoS2exoLcnhiX3ENZAAZIjnCy6TPtvUqsjj0bfnH4xRcHxVc3iMhywUlUQS_YA6RfT_/s320/DSCF0231.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676335288824054978" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 239px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrpei5RGtDDX0SJCznf0BBHXLBkijbG174oBMH7Nk5TW6INsQ1iV9DbYVOq_l8PjsK9OdOISx0dy1QNTbB8JoS5h6EgpIZU4NF26t3On-AYbeoxoVEKNyjJ2xbkSmzKsnzMN6f3xANHCE-/s320/IMG_1306.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676335291956001730" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-54395001325669608632011-10-19T11:40:00.000-07:002011-10-19T11:58:42.476-07:00Stephanie's Birthday!<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjign0qOG25nRtblqpX8yXb1MCpnqlGxxCKNjGz4jp1QDdTnd6Pyp3zu-dZRj9fyiBd5jQK0g0jHVEFv1V3UuYuB-kIriHZ1PVnODOBJwXPXej7YSnCPCbOjAGl1fMouhA3j0Hic_JD9ALl/s320/DSCF0024.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665279150086066466" />

This year for stephanies birthday the thing she wanted and needed was a new camera. Which she did recieve. This is the reason not too many pictures have been taken. What has been taken was on her phone and even though they tak good pictures they will never be as good as an actual camera. We have been taking pictures like crazy now trying to get the kids yearly pictures one which has been kind of hard this year. Jacoby is not very cooperative. Janine has been sick as well and so getting a good picture of any kid while they are sick is hard.
Anyway.....Eric went to work for 2 hours and then came back home with breakfast and ate with us and then went back to work for 2 more hours and then came home and worked on his office for the afternoon. The evening before we went on a date to Little Italy in Provo. Best Italian food you will ever eat. We got the birthday cake from there too. sssooo good. Eric made pumpkin chili for dinner and we went and watched stefan play a soccer game where he scored 3 goals! Stephanie had a good birthday.d<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEOGehWCeAD8kux6OtPw2f4en3MpzuV2Li6bnukBRFGHXinP2f8whu_i836T603Av8-ywMA6zGe4vqxGZ81YHoTdwaa54r1xbHOeuUa8E7DB6QW5hNwLP9M7MFfIZJKfMx_AcTdj1miKaT/s320/DSCF0031.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665279151358436098" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-45285632969522237862011-10-19T09:55:00.000-07:002011-10-19T11:39:22.220-07:00Stefans Birthday & Soccer Life!!this fall all began with Stefan starting soccer. Fall soccer started with 2 and ends with 1. Janine started to play as well but about half way through the season she decided she was a dancer and not a soccer player.
Stefan however is a soccer player and does very well. His last game stefan scored all three of the teams goals! The other kids on the team told their coach that Stefan is their leader. when the coach asked stefan if that was true Stefan shook his head and said quote "Ya, I am". Too funny. Stefan loves soccer and really enjoys playing the game. He is always the first one on the field ready to go. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtsu1wtxW2okuLiX336zzfqmfuxG4v1ozuVNv5qtAuP03i6v8YS2BXA1vCtd9vLuKXukeUvpnSXMOcJj064tFR4AGoSrPQ1q2P8T-FN7X_o2BeP55dkEXszTMS4hw2yHwrf8afZxtIyx4Q/s320/DSCF0011.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665249743245458562" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6T-vG1K8MGrWOjiBoi-LjEcH8bXaELUFNn7mkkDGyDXd5acncyusZhZ1gEuManCHNcfJ_UbAyFJeEWhQ-xvqbMZlAItN0w3-xcF3JLj8Cwhm_FBbw2PiU7Ea0tlSCpPWF0fJY7FiJVsio/s320/DSCF0016.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665249752750408098" />
Stefans birthday this year happened to be the week of General Conference so his Uncle Troy was in town so we had a family party where the grandparents uncles and cousins came. We had a lot of fun. Uncle Michael even performed some magic tricks for everyone. Stefan wanted a race car cake with monster trucks in the middle doing jumps! Well our kids may not have elaborate parties but Stephanie tries to always deliver what the kids would like for their birthday cakes.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 239px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGOsQhEOeMuBIOOlK4brsgTKQWUxtqa3VIt2vzqKCtwgCapUN09fXPSkSmAvWN1-Oe5TXGElKXFAjxRoP00LT1hStJa-jPvZr7d0_as3lCGkYi-vXen8xa85IGoYYJSI4yzNVlnR8CtU0d/s320/number+6+for+stefan.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665273064059008770" />
Stefans present that he got from his parents was a Bearded Dragon Lizard! Now as his parents it is our job to try and talk him out of this, right? Well try we did to no avale. A lizard is what he wanted. His cousin Canyon has one and loves his, so we went out on his birthday and got the lizard and some things to go in its cage. We thought that Stefan wouldn't even touch it or anything but he did. He lets the lizard climb up his arm and everything. They are very friendly and you can train them to do things. In Stephanies mind this is a way better pet to have right now than a dog!Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-13868340932685363022011-08-30T12:47:00.000-07:002011-08-30T13:13:31.927-07:00Kindergarten.......And the adventure begins!!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW3KJLaEcFoWVS0quOWXGX_D76kdhIUlQ0pbem2iYY3VzD8ebEHxenSxzUraZzzTVHTiqlrxM9QiYh3pIFXnYqxbgHj2E4yaqE1T8HdUsv3wGaIngmQvaUIlE4gmEXbrReq7ISwOLwwnVD/s320/IMG_0913.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5646741523669770706" />
Yesterday was Stefans first day of Kindergarten!! Stefan was so excited to start school. when taking him to school he walked 3 steps ahead of his mom. That was bitter sweet. Stephanie was so happy to see him confident and excited about being in the "big kid" school as stefan puts it. It seems like Stephanie has waited for this moment for a very long time, and on the other hand it feels like not too long ago that the two of them were going to mom and tot classes together!
Stephanie helped Stefan put all his homework papers into the different bins that were given to the parents on orientation night. He then hung up his backpack, and his teacher Mrs. Smith took our picture and he went to find his name tag on his desk. Stephanie stayed by the door for just a minute to watch him find his desk and sit down. At that moment Stephanie got choked up and could feel the waterworks so she quickly turned and left before the tears had a chance to make it to her face.
Its a good thing Stefan is strong and doesn't have separation issues because that helps keep his mother strong too. The only dissapointment of the new year is Stefan really wanted to ride the big yellow bus to and from school. You have to live 1 1/2 miles from the school in order to ride. We live 1 1/4 miles from the school. So unfortunately the only thing he will be riding in is our big red Armada! HAHA.

Janine has been on both of us parents to sign her up for dance since she was just shy of 3. She is now 4 and today is her first day. Janine has come a long way in not being shy and at least talking to her teachers. While she didn't speak at all last year to her teachers, she has already talked to her primary teacher and her preschool teacher that we met at the open house. Right after her dance class she came home and put her shoes back on and showed Stephanie everything that she learned. Then when eric came home she put her shoes back on and showed her dad everything that she learned. When we signed up for class and Janine saw her costume she would wear for her performance she was overly excited. the tutu was her favorite part. oh and the sparkles.
About a week and a half ago we went to Lake Powell with the Powell family. Our sister Serina just had a baby 2 weeks before that so she didn't come but Grandma and Grandpa Powell took the 2 older boys with them to the Lake. This was nice because it kept Stefan entertained and then Janine was entertained by Scotty and his kids. We had a fun trip. Thankfully we missed the sand and rain storm thursday night! Every time we go to the lake we rent a boat and go wake boarding, water skiing and ride tubes and stuff. Stephanie wakeboarded for the 2nd time in her life and she did great! Try after Try after Try after Try she finally made it out of the wake! wwaahhooo!!! Then of course Sean goes and he just makes it looks so easy. going in and out of the wake. coming up on the side of the boat leaning way back. <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNSGJyYJE3SimB_5hadZ2dejSVKitp4T5WVJH5V_G2mpv0w9BJMwGrRUfY7IvZ3E-xo3sAMDSrVBnYgne4cM9W33gSqpUFNvG4UBNMHtntRkkiVPwNLENDfhyphenhypheneJecmMcV2fSiD5i3bB6Bq/s320/IMGA0006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5641545594499180018" />
He is just good. We all took turns with the water hot dog. The kids loved it. We built a waterslide down the beach into the water. This was so much fun. we poured some bubbles on the plastic and then when you were ready to slide we would dump a bucket of water and you would go at the same time. Skyler was the best to watch. He brought a lot of water down with him and speed. Grandpa took braxton (scotty and danelles son) on the water hot dog with him and Braxton fell asleep! <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTHyXlZ2yZ7b2MLD5ur3fmsv55I7lsugSOGgHjZTQh0q_UMaZjf2SLBt4ciH7H_NCerOWJL1oULZV6X1-sXyQQggF6QIUFTW4DK8-ypy1BALWkA30hBJJQwV0xJDtl-wYC6UMoe8oCxYHN/s320/IMGA0015.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5641545594930811026" />
Was the funniest thing ever. We stopped the boat and asked if he wanted off and he said no and so they rode for 2 more minutes and the boy was out again! so we took him back to shore! Hilarious....The water was 30 feet higher at this point than it was last year and so the Sand Slide was back. We went to that and climbed it. The little boys climbed that thing twice! They are all truly Rockstars!!I took more videos than pictures but for some reason I have sound on my recorder but not when I put them on my computer. so I can only do some of the pictures that I have.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvQK7rILi9xwimlPVWtI4KVlamz4-Ljt-_DUQnOKAjKt6iWausBoB7y2gMrKtISTwcC-NWdpAqCErtydNpvNlsABrnnIKfzJrSMoErEB0X7n3i9fxpmVD8KUd8wjwzXWoQ2cBMUGWupVhc/s320/IMGA0024.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5641545610899899122" />

Crazy how time really flies. Stephanie hasn't had a bike since she was like 12 yrs old. So eric took her out and bought her a bike for their anniversary a "specialized" bike. So we went biking for our anniversary. We had a great time. We always do when we spend time together.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 238px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDJBAeIm_LkOLMMNtwKNiObBy_S9CFiMFG1y_FBsWPerc2DkEZ2n0QDfojJc_Gw4bVvGE4md0HfBRWh6AREb7hcCx7f_8pD-MRc7tJj83eK6ZastVoCSLz1td0d6AenxbOs1-6BVO1gFYb/s320/IMG_0694%255B1%255D" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631887056233617890" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 238px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw-p8kbXamgVyfHyluM4Xck2xmcHaQAPIpHSFrmI0nRF9m9yZLbSI8U8oxmlOjwqOKprVpk2Wo8cUw9cTE64QBM03CoF6SchxtRWkwjft-doT9DROacyfGLrpuJFYo425eYU-H3CXTUErY/s320/IMG_0695%255B1%255D" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631887053180619522" /> This past weekend we went on a family camping trip to Payson Lakes. This is a really beautiful lake to swim in and fish. We of course wanted to stay in the campground just next to the lake but naturally when we arrived they were all full. So we were forced to drive a little further of the Mountain and rough it. meaning no toilets! It seems that when we have to camp like this we end up enjoying ourselves more. Probably because we are completly by ourselves. We went on a family hike and collected leaves and laid them infront of our tent so we wouldn't track in the fine black dirt. It actually worked! That was a fun family project. On saturday we went to the lake and stayed for most of the day. We aired up our boat and went out and had a great time. Jacoby however hated hit life jacket and screamed the whole time....aaaahhhh family memories.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif_oIL_HBosqwNR749nKpALbcU78MsboTCTf3bn554CSg4irXou_IxjP8y-a84LkJTWyylXSlIwcCWP23oQyI4USUR0xANWHD3XbTxW8qOXbDrZmH8qdahaizsQXcCvBP1Ly8hVjN72fkB/s320/IMGA0035.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631889224976475138" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrLQsKXY6hr8jpsxwKLYyXzB03BnDEZwrx9tStxgftd-SYwk04pKmBLKsrzw3rR39ACtPKlduI6vJr7NU4l-zWAEQultiZUIOyy4udk7IRefxWxASXxCYykJF2XAKr4fkCy5j8Q9facpcD/s320/IMGA0033.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631889226937418226" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1LiCDeGXvRIkTN03xeo2jGtEEJ8AJlz0URz5jCKHa5rczV98gqCD0E7LwxK5R6fr4moka7UNowU7YgcZT4vnB9D_Qf491SR2cDJ0r01gmIbtjaebrtj1Qh7C9HF0MqBshHG7fILiLHLGm/s320/IMGA0032.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631889219602147106" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja6epe9HCOEhVIXkk5dyMPhqxMQUG8TH14MRL2R3w7o33d6k4A_h7wEzVqE74rTJbcBiCAttPO_401BubIsIL6K_Jp76jGNcLxWKo9XgmtwS3SO0jyNAtE49i8RmkG33mfMOupkBYEE1bv/s320/IMGA0048.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631889543029946786" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-16373329931899703012011-07-07T20:19:00.000-07:002011-07-07T20:45:42.307-07:00Janines 4th Birthday! + The 4th of July<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU2i_Kra-buS8wya5IojW7u3lx_nlUPwJQcYkFgy2Beo5vmdSGGa5pitQ_D1NYj-mtAeYoVFCFbq2cT-85Mm4iy2ZOQiJyoDlrLk1RmGusWZzJGGvJtMR65nEaisaksQnZHejnzaJadp-j/s320/100_3701.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626819967509232770" />
When Janine turned one we had a birthday party where all of the allan family came with some of our friends and it was a great birthday. Then she turned 2 and Stephanie started to feel as though we would always have a big to do on her birthday since it is shared with a major holiday. Then she turned 3 and it was just the 4 of us. This year on her golden birthday (cause she turned 4) Stephanie's oppinion has changed. We love having her birthday on the 4th. Not only does this girl love barbeques and shrimp, but we celebrate her birthday for 3 days every year! She loves how the television and radio and people in the store know its her birthday. Everytime someone says July or the 4th of July, Janine always tells her mom, "that person knows its my birthday." We love Janine and are so happy she is in our family.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQI_tyeS2yodfeIJ8YmuRIRPedsNpw-37xHIFwhcQ7caaBU1KIecg8vimI8Uwhn_U1e6U3RW9svM5Zeq6UoCFe4-O8tbx8qjXTUhO_W2BpCJHVu6cGOEd4t7nivsb11rVJlrJPctNGBINU/s320/100_3696.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626818135719273442" />
In preparing this cake for Janine, stephanie made a rainbow cake for her. Some kids get really cool big toys and over the top parties.....our kids get CAKE! But what is better than cake!? Since Stefan and Stephanie had pinatas for their birthdays this year we couldn't leave out Janine so we got a Dora the Explorer pinata and enjoyed beating the candy out of her. <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj03UZeuSM-FpIL5yFC9exUUmxc5ws2CrEwBRvBAT9lNvg8u1Z-0GwhCH5zEsEyyKdkM2e0vh9Efw29gwykqjXkL5kJAIhTVMMO_CGh_kWpyAPZWjuK36XSjus7-20gwgogyEjBHlSsYVhm/s320/100_3692.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626822396051230802" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKkY3V1F_toYa8fQvwxtnSUZGbFBq25JiI1SHLwpsCaajWmBAcPx-ywVQ0Gcd2_qpvjyNnQyfj4nwG0YnEUZfUagHrwEteUk7xvsZwiP753t81KaTiwkRhMkgEJeXDYkDySdQJ9zHeufK5/s320/100_3707.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626822394053042994" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi50zIMzKN9nXF2IcRQ51q6htK3TQCjJIjIbDTP5osmnC7d00-0drlEEa2oeP8UfDNkgAtC8g5b0qbN8MJAqpzo2oxN_L0-2aacFFVeEl6xnjzFV2rUbAXAwl_AQMSeQWx0wfTtcclfkuwI/s320/100_3710.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626822374884370578" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5wTY2tGHh-0nErbdatqnrq6H6EHPwbkMiBZDwUSyzi-R5lDOPfHlcNZyZ71KLJVfp6Icuk29gHHJCSWiuuLMNXYuwQs18L7gNwhKcYkeBoa74EOagF8jG06lHZSoUl3zcUlIl4DRRsD-O/s320/100_3717.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626822369055189010" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqE5XY8c_FQ-fSqfPSsMQec9xW7u4AGJdie3yKXjKA5fkvorjNS_8ycRVt2cL0iujApU9Z-zOtss29i3O5Ix3KlmJJCMcJ0F2-ugXHwyDYbYkUTBD_Ea7vhUyU-zvjSVCoNplB47_xYTup/s320/100_3719.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626822359827813154" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-42478145461888568562011-07-01T10:14:00.000-07:002011-07-07T20:17:59.805-07:00Do I have a Blog???........I Do!!There hasn't been a blog post in a long time! The reason being internet! Or lack thereof for that matter.
To re-cap what has been happening in the Allan family these last few weeks has been quite a lot.
After our family trip to Arizona two weeks later we packed up our house and our now living in Salem Utah. Where is that you might ask? Just north of Payson and South of Springville/Spanish Fork. We are sandwiched in the middle. We love it out here. We feel as though we can breathe. We loved living in Pleasant Grove and had many good friends. We are excited though to be in our home and begin a new chapter in our lives.
Stefan did participate in Baseball here in Salem. They got a shirt and a Baseball hat with a MLB Team logo on them. He was a New York Giant this year. Stefan has improved so much. He can almost catch every ball you throw overhand, and the ones that he doesn't he at least moves his glove right where the ball is. He just misses. We are so proud and happy to see the progression in him. Next is soccer and he is really excited for that and Janine is excited to Play with Stefan.
The Month of June brought unpacking boxes and getting a little more settled.After not seeing one of stephs cousins since we got married, he contacted stephanie and him and his family wanted to rent our house and buy it the first of the year! They moved in June 25th!! We are so excited to have someone there and someone who can see the vision that we saw of what that house can be.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 229px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeKN5GEGBPw5CHe2ITWBJ5_QAAl-ikbAZrXRyMkjy0NcU8959jHk0tRH3gBW5kCNc0WJWuN96uw8F2UKySMoXmx_EmhnjZgsgrUOr-vR9wqXSYErYfdzkNA0cGLslJHyb0HHvkyz80gWCY/s320/269687_2077162376205_1459350778_3335468_1240710_n%255B1%255D.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624439842864087346" />We also had a sister get her endowments out and get married. The week of Loni's wedding we also had the Kneaders Convention in Park City. Stephanie went up and spent a night with Eric. We had a blast. It was a nice date that we were able to have. We had the banquet of course and then we went miniature golfing where Eric kicked Stephanies butt by 10 strokes! He even got a hole in ONE!!! Then we went swimming. we had races and Stephanie won in those. So we both won something. Sssooo Needless to say the whole month was crazy! Eric & Michael catered the event with food from Kneaders. It looked amazing. They did an amazing job. Stephanie did the wedding cake which turned out well. <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU-zelVxyAZ9rULvLy9EVbUPE5qd1OUZcPi1dj_MpkWr5CwPzJa4MH8muQLJHUZt6HiFIMkboYmw4DsNZlr5XCotWcf7lyGwlBr5vhf9Fxu2gl5C7re_ycSqlUn3auC1yLuO_QJOviSioh/s320/2011+092.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624439846669755842" /> The wedding was nice. While at the temple we ran into the Tolds from our old ward. They had moved from the ward 2 years ago. It was fun to run into them. On our way back from temple going to Marysvale we got a flat tire!!! so stranded on the side of the road trying to get our tire changed in church clothes we thankfully left before the rest of the family and so we had Kendal and Dale's families who stopped and helped us. Troy & Annette stopped, picked up Stephanie and took her to the church so she could finish the cake before the reception. It was quite an adventure, but it all worked out.This past week we went to a Salt Lake City "Bees" game. They are a minor league team that utah has. that was fun.<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 238px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDiDUp2o7Cu3-9BuLaCRdJtjaTJqnry_1KsFR_b4_2pNciUOgXaczC53e2FtiM9ndDxxSoWd6iqfjP9xIzRdn5Aao8aU-nSJMH0PPLnpnnk-jf8IlR0T4xHc7FR7Qfv0ZE9rtsQQZvpRq_/s320/2011+098.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624439854094760274" />
Now it is the 4th of July weekend and we all know what that means! Janines Birthday!!!.....oh and the countrys too.
Stephanie is working on Janines Tinker Bell cake. We are hoping it will be done before her birthday!
Well for having so many things happen in these past few weeks we were able to get in all in, in a not so very long post!Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6204082466829645163.post-3204922218604801282011-05-14T15:14:00.000-07:002011-05-16T16:53:54.600-07:00Arizona!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3uFNv_EsfwFsjucLCKde9k34P3zHDPRfUnb7zOf0_neg_uD15MIl27NA5gzs-a-21pFyrc_1clzhyINnEna0PKi3vbvjawru61SBlqM1jaTxQbzDeZz_6VXr5-I4J1Df1ph8K0bthWlK3/s320/Uncle+Sean+%2526+Janine.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5607465740413357202" />
Well about a week and a half ago we traveled to arizona for Sterlings farewell and also to catch a D-Backs game with Scotty & Danelle and their family. We decided to drive through the night instead of sleeping at Kendals (erics bro) house. We were about 20 minutes outside of Flagstaff when Serina calls us and informs us that Scotty is in the hospital with his 1 yr old Brenley who has menengitis! So instead of going to Phoenix we decided to head east and go straight to Pinetop. Brenley is doing well. She can hopefully go home on Wednesday. Very blessed little girl.
We had a really good time in Pinetop. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieO44_IRNHAXUopSkwHrWz4eY_3YSIHSSwfOLo5QlkIcLHJN7SEj8Xvvk9suit2KEyS5AavPYfisMZu-gXHJHSG2A8ovREOQkkZ5xWhl1elh5Y71EU-U_mRIF3KGenpexCGSaELLZQef7U/s320/Grandpa+%2526+Stefan+fooling+around.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5607465743002398418" />
On Friday we went into some caves with our private trail guide Sean. We lucked out and there wasn't 3 inches of water in the begining like there usually is. However, in Arizona you have thick clay like mud. Quite a bit different than your typical mud. This quickly became an adventure with our 5, 3, & 1 year old kids. But we had a blast. <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRiV6pD3RyPxe10m9aKZFEcqsU9xkcgM_NzXazNwNlbFLX9G3pB7U_Syqn-DYb9AWf9usrgFZAGyKscHvIJSM5ePX8tENUGiQZR00eaMjOHWaIA1o99Ai5BndBJPjkd6qLkmfQRGIOByiU/s320/Grandma+down+after+her+graceful+fall.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5606704049478945618" />
Grandma tripped on a mud hill because it is so dug up from people trying to find indian pottery. We must say she falls with style!!
We had to crawl at parts and Eric tripped also. When the mud got so bad that even us adults were starting to lose our shoes we decided to turn back. <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPtYvrxuoudGrTd92c12bdygUwtcmcvHQ5KcI7fvOs3R1biwlxgeLBjp7nto70EOpVd2GpoDwIb-bds5_p0zcEIGqiqxIyZqKRbURQd5tyr6b8ugqAyVer7PTUvQfAhNPZ-Imv3boyi5DF/s320/Jacoby+afterwards.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5606704059364235714" />
As we were almost back at the beginning Stephanie slipped in some mud which made her off balance and while holding Jacoby ends of falling backwords and lands on her back and butt. Go Together?We know this is such a late post but hey since we use this blog as a family journal it has to get put in!
On Thursday april 14th, Stefan got his tonsils taken out! The night before his big day the family went to "The Pizza Facotry" for dinner. Sort of as his last real meal for awhile. We brought along Aunt Whitney and as you can tell the kids love their Aunt Whitney.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 239px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxgmJM84qzay1iAKsurtiTzOfC0mPR3wosS4nS90B6gMeq86elmPb-IiBmNfGA0Jtq5ckrJpDG2vagm3aqsv48WklRlI84WV3iGzBdXT-cFa7ooT4y3wYnc2pq0mDeMSMz2O30XR6kalHX/s320/IMG_0593.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5599604413222133826" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 239px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpOFMMAKtyzGpoFOhjFVeF9G_nGQPDLtzJoAADBaw1_Urxtqn7oO5lpnJ7Q2crMVdmFCwUNnZnYCRw8WyL0pKIrNYE_60ebgWRavI9ohFdWmeZ1uk4Rvvnzy8UVjafMA3cpyTcwyjngGlU/s320/IMG_0594.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5599605124265310898" /> On the day of Stefans surgery he was very brave and listened very well to the nurses and Doctors. Well the week of Stefans surgery was the same week Stephanie had a Wedding Cake due! Stefan got his tonsils out on Thursday and the cake was due Saturday!! Thanks to a wonderful husband who took all day thursday off, Stephanie was able to get ahead on her cake so that friday when she was alone to take care of stefan she didn't have too much to do. But Stephanie always wakes up early in the morning to do most of her cakes so that she can be with the kids and not feel as though she neglects them for a week!Stephanie did the wedding cake for a friends sisters wedding. After setting up the cake everyone loved it!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8w4sf5NonxWBmDursDtqgnnPdnJWg2n2lzETcDPSaKt9mK6yAQ5p6kFmtJyPqIWdrOJz5sBRupret2Jb8VmeuVMcMfRqGnnLONwrt4uVGkiTl4hnUUwUZ3HdVAbB-j9K-Xt3vlqDp-SVj/s320/100_3634.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5599610710369519906" />
Stephanie was later told that her cake was a huge hit. Everyone was so impressed. The director of Noahs in South Jordan liked it so much he asked Kayelene (stephs friend) if Stephanie would like to be the main contact for wedding cakes at that location!!! Whaaaahooo!! Stephanie told Kaylene to give her info to the guy because that would be awesome!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf_JNTNOHRO1CHEW0s7w7VgvQUSyogVPnO-q-fTTD5B1JyBm_Fh0re1yzW9nBxqTKlfwb13BoKG1sBBngFtaiE-2C3VerY3Xcgnu1cR6mvfwIF8JDl62nDTq-3t6o9XUB2RJoMld3TGXY0/s320/100_3632.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5599610704559229634" />Eric Allan Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00441042496329987560noreply@blogger.com1
